Dr. Lauren Terihay

She enjoys all types and sizes of dogs and cats…. and their people as well! She graduated from The Ohio State University in 2007 with her doctorate in veterinary Medicine. Since then she has worked in general practice as well as enjoying relief work and emergency medicine on the side. Her special interests are in dog and cat internal medicine and surgery.

Dr. Broughton

Since the age of 5 when she was pretending to perform surgery on her stuffed animals, Dr. Broughton knew she wanted to be a veterinarian. Originally from a small town outside of Louisville, Kentucky, she went on to attend and graduate with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree from The Ohio State University in 2019. She loves building strong client relationships and helping preserve the human-animal bond via an emphasis on client education, and quality of life care. She has special interests in preventative medicine, neurology, dentistry, and soft tissue surgery.

When she is not at work, she enjoys spending quality time with her loving husband and their two cats Rosie Patches (a 3-legged Calico) and Marie (a very mischievous Tabby) and their Norwegian Elkhound Nina. She also enjoys reading, painting, watching movies, and playing tennis. She is excited to have joined the compassionate team at The Animal Clinic Wadsworth and looks forward to working with you and your fur babies!

In-house lab work performed by experienced registered technicians, digital and dental radiographs, dental procedures, and ultrasound are just some of the diagnostic techniques the TAC staff can utilize for advanced pet care. If surgery is required, the Animal Clinic doctors are experienced to perform a wide range of general soft tissue surgery. If your pet is in pain, our staff will discuss with you a game plan to resolve it. Utilizing a variety of therapies and medications we can work out specific treatments for specific problems. We work closely with compounding pharmacy specialists to devise small doses, special flavors, and even medications that absorb through the skin to ease you pet’s treatment. .

  • Pet Vaccination Needs

Vaccinations can be very important to prevent deadly illnesses from infecting your pets. Not all pets, however, need ALL vaccines and the type and frequency of vaccination vary from pet to pet. At TAC, we only want to vaccinate your dog and cat for what they need to stay healthy, and only as often as is needed to protect them.  With your pet’s annual examination, we will assess your pet’s vaccine needs and only vaccinate as needed.
